Four (4) Supportive and Timely Outdoor Options
At your school, 2 Classes a day, 3 Weeks in a Row.
Piloted in 2019, and initially funded by the Upper Grand School board, The Outdoor Toolbox is designed to support teachers in designing meaningful, effective, and thrilling lessons in the outdoor and naturalized areas in and around the school grounds.
The Outdoor Toolbox exists in recognition that regular nature immersion experiences have proven results on all the metrics: physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and academic. The kids have fun and feel inspired, the teachers see big results in all areas.
Requires (at least) 2 willing teachers in a given school to apply.
