Oaks and Acorns (ages 0-4)

For parents and tots.

As much for moms and dads as for the kids.  Oaks & Acorns is tuesday morning every week at the GOS cedar grove. Songs, games, stories, tracking, & feeding chickadees.  Activities are set up for kids to support parent talking circles on topics near and dear to our hearts. 

This is a free program.  By donation only.

What your child can expect

Activities for parents and tots Include: wildlife tracking, nature craft, stewardship projects, more feeding chickadees, visiting the river, timeless wanders and thrilling mini-adventures, shelter building, getting to know the plant, games that teach and stretch awareness, story and song.   

Parent discussions center around: options in education, community building, parenting stories, art of questioning and other mentoring techniques, decolonization, community service, rites of passage and child development, stewardship, story telling and music.
