Welcome to Guelph Outdoor School’s very first bird-themed PD day!
It’s been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be more excited to flock together. Birds are one of our favourite gateways into nature connection: they’re everywhere, calling us to look up, listen closely, and slow down.
Paying attention right where we are.

Birds of a Feather PD is a full-day deep dive into the world of the feathered ones. We’ll follow footprints in the mud, trace flight paths across the sky, and tune our ears to the songs in the trees. Together, we’ll sketch and journal, play and share stories, and fill the day with curiosity and wonder.
Our plan is that the day sets kids up for a lifetime of awareness and joy for the birdfolk who live among us, the rare, the common, and those passing through. As always, we’ll bring our signature blend of curiosity and care: wonder as much as knowledge, discovery as much as facts, and joy, friendship and adventure all the way through.
See you out there where the wild & winged things sing!
