Sliding Scale Options
As with all our programs, GOS Summer Sessions is a richer experience with a diversity of lived experience on our staff teams and participant lists.
While many social, physical, and material barriers to accessing our programs still exist, this page is in place to ensure that income level and access to wealth is not a barrier.
We know that everyone wants GOS programs to succeed. When choosing a rebate code, the spirit is this:

In addition, please consider funding organizations who provide financial and material support for Summer Camps.

This is not a scholarship fund, and we do not assume that individual BIPOC families do not have access to wealth. Reparation Coupons are in place in recognition of broad, complex, and inter-sectional factors.
Reparations Coupons
are in place to offset social and systemic barriers to wealth accumulation based on racial and ethnic identity, and are in place specifically for Black, Indigenous, and families of colour.

Scholarships
are in place to support families who experience barriers to wealth accumulation that are not based on race or ethnicity:
single parent households, families and participants with mobility, physical, emotional,or mental challenges, or simply families who have been significantly affected financially by Covid-19.
