Monday Warblers

All About the Core Routines

The Monday Warblers is our freshest program, Like the Wednesday Wolves, Monday Warblers is a generalist program, featuring all the foundational elements of GOS programs:

• Opening and Closing the day in circle:
gratitude, song, story, and hatching plans.

• Warm-Up and Sensory Games + Nature Based Challenges:
Designed to get kids out of their academic heads and into their bodies

• Core Routines of Nature Connection:
Tracking, Plant & Bird ID, Bushcraft, Carving and Handwork, Sit Spot, Mapping, Wandering, Fire Tending, Awareness Challenges, and child-led open world “wild time”.

Mondays, 9am to 4pm

What to expect

Like all GOS programs, Wolves supports young people in becoming themselves. Our model promotes the attributes of connected kids; Quiet Mind, Common Sense, Aliveness and Agility, Inquisitive Focus, Caring and Tending, Service to Community, Awe and Reverence, Co-Operative Team work & Self-Sufficiency.

Learning and development happens consistently and invisibly through story-telling and song, thrilling games and nature-based challenges, hands-on tasks, reflective moments in wild spaces, role-modelling & mentorship.

Through connection with self, others, and the natural world
